2010 Lincoln Cent Design Proposal LP-10 featuring the American Flag. This is the flag that was used during Lincoln’s era which includes 34 stars. Many have considered this to be a fitting symbol of the preservation of the Union. This design was backed by the Commission of Fine Arts after their first recommendation was removed from consideration.
